A member of a small community, receiving income according to a civil contract and paying contributions to the Sodra from this income, acquires the right to sickness allowance. Payment of PSD contributions ensures free access to health care services. However, the possibility of receiving sickness benefits is related to other contributions – state social insurance (VSD). The State Sick Fund under the Ministry of Health reminds that only PSD insured persons can feel safe when they need health care services – then their treatment costs are paid from the funds of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund.
